YMCA Moldova
Project Coordinator
YMCA Moldova has worked in the Republic of Moldova for more than a decade, building safe spaces and structured programmes for young people in Chișinău and across the country. Their work spans youth leadership development, non-formal education, and community resilience programming.
As coordinator of the PACE project, YMCA Moldova owns the work-package roadmap, chairs the Steering Committee, and is the consortium’s point of contact with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). They lead the Needs Analysis and the design of the Train-the-Trainer pipeline.
Beyond coordination, YMCA Moldova anchors the consortium’s quality assurance and reporting – consolidating progress from partners in Ukraine and Georgia into a single, coherent picture for funders and stakeholders. Their long-standing local network in Chișinău also gives PACE a proving ground close to home: new training materials and peer-learning formats are often tested with Moldovan youth workers first, before being adapted for use across the wider region. This dual role, steering the project’s direction while staying rooted in direct community work, reflects the same values of inclusion, trust, and practicality that run through PACE as a whole.
